MIL-STD-1553 Seminar

TEST SYSTEMS, Inc., has been providing extensive training in 1553 through a comprehensive seminar presented in either a 2 day format or a 3 day format. The 3 day format provides more time for the students to assimilate the material and allows time in the afternoons for other responsibilities. Both formats present a thorough discussion of MIL-STD-1553 theory, application, and testing. Problem areas in the standard are clarified and available options are examined.

The two lab sessions in the seminar illustrate the material being taught and provide "hands-on" experience in identifying 1553 communication and trouble-shooting remote terminal problems.

Refunds and Transfers:

The registration fee (less 10% administrative fee) will be refunded for written cancellation made up to seven (7) days prior to the seminar. If you need to cancel less than seven days prior to the seminar, you may send a substitute or transfer to a later seminar within a year. Written transfer requests must be made prior to the seminar.

Overview of MIL-STD-1553

In addition to our comprehensive seminar, we also offer a three hour Overview of MIL-STD-1553. This overview is intended to provide the basics of MIL-STD-1553 to engineering managers.

MIL-STD-1773 Seminar

A two and a half hour seminar on MIL-STD-1773 (the fiber optic version of 1553) is also available. This seminar is designed to provide an understanding of the requirements of MIL-STD-1773. Problem areas associated with fiber optic transmission are examined and discussed. An understanding of MIL-STD-1553 is prerequisite to this seminar.
